DichroSlide™ Paper - Rainbow Coating - 4" x 4" DichroSlide™ is a special dichroic-coated paper which performs like a decal. With this fabulous rainbow coated DichroSlide™ you can fire your own unique patterns and designs onto glass of ANY COE (Coefficient of Expansion); from bottle glass to window glass or plain fusible glass in order to design your own unique works of art. Complete instructions are included. The process is easy; you cut out your patterns or shapes with scissors, an exacto-knife or a craft punch, then soak the pieces in water and slide the rainbow dichroic coating (along with its binder) off of the paper backing and apply it to your glass prior to fusing. When you fire your glass the binder burns off, leaving the rainbow dichroic coating on the glass. You can layer the rainbow dichroic coated transfer paper to create all kinds of interesting color gradations, and you can also make use of all your scrap transfer paper, just as you would your dichroic glass, to create a multi-colored mixture that when layered over a pale aqua glass, (for example) will fire to reveal a finished piece whose fiery blend of red-golds, pinks and greens, will resemble opals!
